No, you are right. Animal Crossing New Horizons became the most best-selling game of all time in Japan, surpassing Pokemon red/blue and the rest of the games from other consoles.

Seriously, why did they do away with this favor system with the villagers? You literally have no reason to speak to them.

I believe you need to be in a specific friendship level to receive favors.

I really do miss a villager randomly showing up outside your home asking to hang out and playdates

You have to push beyond 3-4 of the same dull lines before they start offering you exceptional conversation or activities. I played for months before realising.theyve literally run around me multiple times and ask me to do a chore or had a thought bubble. Not certain why youre saying you need to"push past" 3-4 lines of dialogue to get it, maybe you will need a greater friendship level.

Honestly over time the game went out of like a 10/10 match to a 7/10 match to me, purely because of how dreadful the pacing and UX was. At some stage I wanted to earn a lot of changes with my city but it was only so insanely tedious to anything at the game and it eventually caught up with me. I was tired of spending like 3 hours every evening doing essentially'nothing' in the game just because of the length of time it takes to do things.

I totally get his point and tbh do not believe yours invalidates his, but yeah, I roll my eyes when I see something like that.

Notably bad in MMO subreddits in which hyper-power-users will complain'There is NOTHING TO DO in this match! Trust me, I've played it for 1400 hours, I'd know'
